Using sterling silver chain instead of a braided leather cord, this bolo tie inspired necklace features a stunning heart shaped piece of labradorite, framed with a simple silver border. It can slide up and down on the chain exactly like a bolo tie, but also has a clasp closure like a typical necklace.
To cause less wear and tear and to ensure its longevity as an heirloom piece, I recommend putting this necklace on and taking it off using the clasp behind your neck, and not sliding the stone up and down the chain or pulling it over your head.
You can adjust where you want the stone to sit on your body, and then squeeze the back clasp so it is snug against the chain. This will keep it in place and allow you to use the lobster claw clasp when removing it.
